Pick A Penguin

There are 6 major groups of penguins that are divided into 17 smaller groups. All penguins are birds. They have feathers. Every year the old feathers fall out and new feathers are grown. This is called molting. All penguins are warm blooded and lay eggs. While all penguins are birds, they do not fly in the air. When you see them swim underwater it looks like they fly in the water. Many penguins live in cold climates around Antarctica. But, there are some that live in warm climates. Some are very small and others are much taller.
