During the 5th grade year in music we learn about diverse styles of music. We compare what we know about music in our country and compare it to music in other countries. Fifth graders enjoy using their knowledge of reading music to play the tone chimes. A review of absolute note names and symbols helps us prepare for band next year. We end the year with a look at instruments in a concert band!
