During the 4th grade year in music we emphasize part singing through rounds and partner songs. We use our melodic skills to write our own melodies to sing or play. Fourth graders add  ti-tick-a and tick-a-ti to their rhythm vocabulary . We continue to read and write music and arrange songs to use dynamics like piano and forte, or pianissimo and fortissimo. A highlight of our year is learning how to play the recorder!
