During the 2nd grade year in music we sing songs that emphasize Do, Re, Mi, So and La. We can read and perform rhythms on instruments to accompany singing. Second graders learn to read and write rhythm patterns using half notes (ta-a), whole notes (ta-a-a-a) and rests! We enjoy creating our own movements to music.
