Nebraska International Camp

"Aim for the Stars 2008" Camp Information

Among the plethora of science and math-based camps overseen by the University of Nebraska - Omaha is one called "Foreign Language Discovery."  This is open to students in grades 4-5 only.  "Encounter the countries of Germany, France, and Spain in this cultural adventure.  You will learn some of each language and enjoy the music and food of each country!  A special camp created and taught for Foreign Language lovers."  The cost for this camp is $145; a limited number of need based grants are available.  This camp runs June 2-6 from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm.  Click on the title above for more details or contact Connie O'Brien at 554-4999.

 

Concordia Language Villages

Concordia Language Villages is a program of Concordia College, Moorhead, MN, with youth programs for students ages 7-18.  There are four week session, day camps, study abroad opportunities, and scholarships are available.  Students live in architechtually accurate villages while being immersed in the culture and language of one of ten languages.  Most villages are on Turtle River Lake, MN, with others at various locations throughout the United States.  Click on the title above to visit Concordia Language Village's website and learn more about their locations, languages, and even family camp opportunities.
