Week 3 of our Holiday Travels

We took the "Magic Holiday Express" to Mexico.  While we were in Mexico, we read Tomie dePaola's Legend of the Poinsettia and created our own poinsettias.

We practiced counting to 10 in Spanish and learned that "Feliz Navidad" is "Merry Christmas" in Spanish.

Here's Mrs. Roberts helping us make our pinata.  Some call it messy.  Some call it stress relief!

We traveled to Italy.  Buon Natale is Merry Christmas in Italian.

We learned about La Befana.  She delivers gifts to the good children.

"Noel" is Christmas in France.  Don't you love our beautiful banner?

Here's our map on our trip to Sweden where we learned about Santa Lucia.

And here are some samples of our Lucia wreathes and Star Boy hats.
