Dental Health, Nebraska State Day, Dr Seuss, and Leprechauns...

We learned about keeping our teeth healthy this week.

  1. Brush at least 2 times each day.

  2. Floss every day.

  3. Visit the dentist at least twice each year.

  4. Eat healthy foods.

Here's a sample of our marshmallow mouths.

We learned about flossing our teeth and practiced with yarn between our friend's fingers.

Here's a song that we learned.  Ask your favorite "K" Kid to show you words from our word wall, punctuation marks, and chunks within words.

Nebraska's birthday was March 1st.  Do you know how old Nebraska is?

The Cat in the Hat is 50 this year.  We celebrated this on Dr. Seuss' birthday, March 2nd.

Here's another Dr. Seuss hat.

To practice graphing and comparing numbers, we made Lucky Charm Graphs.  Which had the most? the least? how many more? how many less?  Were there any equal?

Here's the Leprechaun poem that we practiced on Friday.
