A little more winter fun...

Winter is the perfect time to learn about static electricity!

After we learned about static electricity and watched the "Magic School Bus Gets Energized", we explored with electricity and circuits.  Here we are lighting up a light bulb.

Since winter and ice seemed to 'naturally' to be a big part of our week, we played Melt-An-Ice Cube.  After we played, we talked about the things that melted the ice the fastest.

It was great fun.  There were squeals of delight and lots of laughing.

"It melted a bunch in my hand!"

"Oh, no!  I rolled a 2 and this ice cube is COLD!"

"OOOH, BURRR!"

We invited Mr. Kauk to join us for the fun.
