We continued with our 'Winter' theme this week...

We read informational books about penguins and listed some of the facts that we learned.

For math, we ate some penguin food.  (At least we think penguins would like Goldfish crackers).

We had 4 fish, and we ate 3.  Then we had 1 left.

We painted penguins and measured them with math cubes.

Whose penguin is taller?  Shorter?  How many cubes more?  How many cubes less?

We completed our mitten activities with a pop-up book.  We illustrated different animals that could climb into our mitten.  The book will be coming home with your favorite "K" Kid soon!

Here's our class igloo.  It's finally finished, and it's a fun place to read.

We listed some words that we might want to use in our journals this month.
