Butterfly in the Wind  A child is a butterfly in the wind: Some can fly higher than others; But each on flies the best that it can. Why compare one against the other? Each on is different. Each on is special. Each one is beautiful.
After reading Eric Carle's The Very Hungry Caterpillar, we mad our own book of The Very Hungry Kindergartner.  Each month, the kindergartner at a different food.... ...and then turned into a first grader!	We read informational books about butterflies.  Then we created a Butterfly Life Cycle with different kinds of pasta.
Here we made chrysalis' and butterflies.
We have been working hard all year with our CATS behavior plan.  We Come Prepared, Act Safely, Take Responsibility, and Show Respect.  Since we did such a great job, we got to celebrate with bounce houses in the gym.  Here are some pictures of our fun...Way To Go "K" Kids!
