When we traveled to Mexico,

we read The Legend of the Poinsettia...

...and made poinsettias.

On our second day in Mexico, we made a classroom piñata to be broken at our holiday party.  It was a little messy,  but fun!

Here are our lanterns that we made for our 'los posada' (a parade of lanterns).

We also traveled to Israel and learned about the celebration of Hanukkah. 

Here's a menorah that we colored while practicing reading our color words.

We learned how to play Dreidel while we were in Israel. 

We made stars to decorate our room for Hanukkah.

We traveled to Italy and learned about LaBefana.  She brings gifts to the children of Italy.
