Our Baby Shower

Here are our guests of honor...12 of the cutest little chicks ever.  One yellow, one golden brown, and 10 black with yellow speckles.

You can't have a party without a cake.

A super huge thank you to Lucy's mom for baking us this wonderful cake.  It looked amazing and tasted great, too!

At center time, the "K" Kids made a "Happy Birthday Little Chicks" banner.  Everyone signed it.

Even our big sisters had fun at the baby shower.

This chick is so cute!

We still had 2 chicks in the incubator during the party.  One had just hatched and needed to dry off.

We had to find something to do while our friends were playing with the chicks.

What a fun party!

We all wrote down our suggestions for names for our chicks.  We're going to vote on the names in class tomorrow.

He's so soft!

This guy is so cute!

The mom's enjoyed the party, too...except for the "Name the Baby Animal Game".  That was a little challenging.

Be gentle with our little critters.

Exciting!

He's tickling my hand!

Nap Time!?

Resting with our chicks.

Snuggling our chicks.

He's so fluffy.

What should we name these 2 chicks?

The suggestions were made and a vote was taken by the "K" Kids to name our chicks.  Their official names are:  Fluffy, Star, Furball, Heart, Cutie, Sparky, Jr., Squeaky, Snowy, Jakey, Spike, and Feathers.
