Who says that kindergarten isn't rocket science??

We started off our study of Objects In The Sky this week.  We read about astronauts and space ships.  Then we brainstormed things that we would need for a Spaceship Center.  Below is the list of what we needed to make and pictures of us working as a team to create the center.

We're making the control panels for the ship.

We're making the fire for Blast Off!

Our ship needs a window to view space.

We're flying for the USA!

These stars will look great around our Rocket.

Here's a map of the Solar System so we know where we're going.

These rocket boosters will be tall!

This satellite should help us learn about space.

It's finally finished!

We're taking off for our first mission!

We'll keep the astronauts on course from Mission Control.

We need to keep track of our missions.

We discovered aliens!!

Christina's family brought in their telescope to share with the class.

This is our flannel board center.  We  can organize the planets and role play space missions.
