Under the Sea

We learned some songs about the oceans.  Ask your favorite "K" Kid to share them with you.

We read about seahorses and did a 4-square writing activity with seahorses.

When you use the 4-square writing method, you write 3 facts and 1 opinion (or feeling sentence).  We also painted seahorses and sprinkled them with sand to give them texture.

Here's one of our ocean centers.  We have all sort of felt board sea creatures.

We read about sharks, created sharks, and wrote 3 sentences to describe our sharks.

Can you guess what shark (below) that Nicole is describing?

This is a dangerous ocean with all of these sharks.

We read about jelly fish and created them on Friday.  We love using the hole punches, but tying the tentacles was a challenge!

Here's our ocean mural so far.
