More Holiday Pictures

Thanks to Madelyn's grandmother for this fun stocking craft.

When we traveled to Mexico, we read The Legend of the Poinsettia...

...and made poinsettias.

On our second day in Mexico, we made a classroom piņata to be broken at our holiday party.

It was a little messy,  but fun!

Messy, messy, messy!

This is what our piņata looks like now.  Wait until you see it all decorated!

We also traveled to Israel and learned about the celebration of Hanukkah.  Here's a menorah that we colored while practicing reading our color words.

We learned how to play Dreidel while we were in Israel.

We made stars to decorate our room for Hanukkah.

Did you know that candy canes were invented to keep babies quiet in church?!

We traveled to France...

"Noel" is Christmas in France.  Don't you love our beautiful banner?

We sewed and decorated stockings this week.  We are wondering if they'll be filled before Christmas Break.

Back in Nebraska, we celebrated Crazy Hat Day!
