We Went On A Bear Hunt! |
 |
Our opening theme was bears so we
all brought our favorite stuffed bear or animal to school with us.
Throughout the week, we read to them, measured them, and sorted them. On
Friday, our kindergarten animals led us on an adventure through the school.
We left them in our classroom while we went to music. Apparently, they
got lonely, too, so they left us a note and took off. When we returned,
we had to go looking for them. It took awhile, but we found them in the
office, having a meeting with Mrs. Roberts. Throughout our search, we found
that there are a lot of super people in our building that want to keep us
safe and help us learn.

We left our stuffed animals on our
tables when we went to recess... |

...And when we returned, this is what we
found. So off we went to find them. |

Ms. Lewis, our health paraprofessional hadn't seen a thing,
but she's prepared with bandages if we ever need any. |

Mrs. Ford, the reading teacher didn't
know where they were. |

Mrs. Ryan, our custodian, promised that
she didn't vacuum them up, but that sometimes happens with little game
pieces if we don't pick them up. |

Mrs. Schram, our speech teacher, hadn't
seen our animals, but she did say that she'd help them with speech if they
needed help.
|

Dr. Valentic, our school psychologist,
hadn't seen them. |

Mrs. Shea and Mrs. Smith in the office
were very helpful on our search. |

They were in Mrs. Roberts' Office.
She said that she 'barely' heard them come in. She did say that she
was glad that she could help us and was always available. |

We measured our stuffed animals.
Ask your favorite "K" Kid how many cubes tall his/hers was. |
