Guess Who?

We graphed our predictions for Groundhog Day.  While talking about Groundhog Day, we learned about shadows.  Did you know that they can change a lot in one day?  We found that our shadows were long in the morning but short at lunch time.  We didn't shrink.  The earth moved so the sun created different shadows!  Mrs. James traced our shadows called silhouettes.  Can you guess who we are?  The answers are at the bottom of the page.

Our shadows at 9:30 a.m.  We predicted what would happen to our shadows at noon.  Most of us thought the shadows would stay the same.

Our shadows at 12 noon...Oh, no!  We are shrinking and our shadows moved!  We weren't sure what was happening.  Someone thought maybe our shadows moved because the wind blew them.
