Here's the song the
we learned about plant parts. We sang it to the tune of "Head,
Shoulders, Knees, and Toes". |

We created a flower
and labeled the different parts. |

We put white
carnations in colored water. If our theory of water traveling up the
stem is correct, they should turn colors...Check back next week for
pictures of the results. |

We planted bean seeds in a
'greenhouse'. Check back next week to see the results. |

We also planted a variety
of seeds in cups of soil. We are having a wonderful time watering them and
taking care of them daily. Hopefully next week, we'll have green sprouts
in 'our little garden'. |
