Our Pirate Adventures

We had a pirate adventure this week.  We made a ship, parrots, hats, spyglasses, a treasure chest full of jewels, and treasure maps.

We brainstormed what we'd need for a Pirate center.

Some of us made the anchor chain.

Some of us cut the masts.

We'll have to steer our ship.

Don't forget the anchor.

...and the Jolly Roger flag.

We're making water and waves for the ship.

Mrs. James is putting up the mast and sail.

Even moms wanted to play in our ship!

Here's a map of our classroom.  Do you know where the treasure's hidden?

Here's Jacob's treasure map.

Mrs. Smith is studying our map.
Will she be able to find the treasure?

She's following the map...

She found it!!
