This balloon wouldn't let Mrs. Brockhaus get away.

We found that electricity can make your hair stand up!

Even the water liked the balloon!  If you look closely, you can see the stream of water is being pulled toward the balloon.

The crazy balloon stuck to the wall.

Mrs. Brockhaus made a big mess of torn paper on the floor and made the "K" Kids clean it up.  It was taking a long time so she showed us a short-cut

With all of the static electricity excitement in our class, we decided to test out some other electricity.  We were little scientists and made predictions (hypotheses) about what would happen when the wires connected with the + and- of the battery.

We could even hook up 3 lights in a circuit and make the light up.

This is fun!  We love being scientists!

If we hooked up several batteries in the circuit, the light got brighter.

This was a project that Mrs. Brockhaus' son created.  He made little houses and had electricity running through his little town to each building.  He came and explained the project and showed us how to build houses.
