Zero the Hero!!

Zero the Hero's been bringing treats and activities to our classroom every tenth day of school, but on the 100th Day we got to meet her.  She arrived with great flair...does she resemble anyone from our front office???

On day 99, we predicted what Zero the Hero would look like.  Some thought it would be a girl.  Some thought a boy.  We thought maybe there would be a person inside with a big Zero costume.  He/She would have brown, purple, or pink hair with no mustache.  He/She would definitely be cool and maybe even a princess.

Mrs. Zero the Hero arrived with a flourish and gave everyone high fives.  After she made her way through the class, she began counting pennies to 100.  Every time she got to a number with a zero, she did a little dance.

After counting 100 pennies, something amazing happened...

Zero the Hero did a little magic for us.  With a lot of shaking the pennies and dancing, she changed 100 pennies into a dollar bill!

After her magic, Mrs. Zero the Hero stayed for a little snowball fight with the class and passed out cookies with 100's on them.  Thanks Zero the Hero!  We loved your visit!!
