Fire Safety

We got on the bus and went to the Offutt Fire Station...When we arrived, we watched a video about fire safety and practicing safe ways to get out of your house if it's on fire.

Next, we went to the "Smoke House".  We went into a pretend bedroom.  There was smoke and the smoke alarm went off.  We had to crawl to get out!

We're safe!

We saw a real fire fighter all dressed for a rescue.

We go to touch him and hear what he sounded like with his mask.

Here's the fire fighter without his mask and helmet.

A group favorite was "Sparky, the fire dog"!

We watched the fire fighters squirt water.  Their hose squirts a little more than ours at home!

Here's "Patch", Sparky's little buddy.
