Transportation

Here are some samples of transportation that we studied this week...

We sang the song "Row, Row, Row Your Boat", found words and letters that we knew on a chart, then learned how to fold paper boats.  Look!  It really floats!!

We decided to fill our boat with little bears.  First we predicted how many bears could fit in the boat before it would sink.  Here are our predictions!

35 bears fit in our little paper boat before it started to take on water!  You can see from our predictions that Quaintance was the closest.

Here's our graph of how we got to school.  Which has the most?  The least?  How many more came by bus that by walking?  Why didn't anyone come in a boat or a plane?

Here's a sample of our airplanes.

These shape trains were fun.  Can you name all of the shapes?

Do you like our buses?  The wheels really do go 'round and 'round!  Look what word we highlighted in yellow, and do you see what we circled in red?  These pictures are in our poetry folders if you want to get a closer look.
