Fairview's Absent Work Policy

         Work missed due to absences will not be sent home to be completed.  Being a participant in the learning environment is an essential part of each classroom lesson, activity, and assignment.  We'll wait until after your child returns to school from sickness, family emergency, or vacation before giving out his/her make-up work.  We feel that this will give us the opportunity to go over the work with your child so that he/she fully understands what is expected prior to completing any work missed due to being absent.  This will also eliminate heavy backpacks for brothers and sisters.  We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.
