Focus Skills and Focus Strategies

In order for your child to comprehend what he/she is reading, skills and strategies must be applied.  In the new reading series, we concentrate on these skills and strategies in whole group, small groups, guided reading, and across all areas of the curriculum.  The skills and strategies that we focus on in third grade are listed below.
