  • 5-4:  Graphing Linear Equations
    • Watch the brainpop movie about solving equations.
    • Solve 20 equations at Aplusmath and show all the steps of your work on a separate sheet of paper.  Put a check in the last box, multiplication and division and click on start.  You must have an 80% to move on.
    • Use Alge-Blaster plus on the computers in the lab.  Click on Subject and select equations.  Click on level and select level 1.  Click on solve box on the screen. Then click on solve on my own.  On a separate sheet of paper, show all your work.  Complete the 10 problems.  You must get 9/10 to move on.   Do NOT print the score sheet.

  • 7-8:  Graphing Inequalities in Two Variables
    • You will need your teacher to guide you through this exercise.  Be sure to have a copy of the worksheet either by clicking the link of from your teacher.  Use this link to explore inequalities.
    • Solve these inequalities.  Write your work and answers on a separate sheet of paper.
    • Study the graphs of these inequalities and then answer the questions.  Raise your hand when finished and show your teacher.

    • This site will have three parts. Start at the top of the page with the Learn Section.  Then go to the practice section and complete 20 problems. You need to have 18/20 to move on.   Go to the play section and try the three activities.
       
    • Read the tutorial on factors and greatest common factors.  Do the 5 problems at the bottom of the page.
       
    • Go through the tutorial on prime and composite numbers.  Do the 5 questions at the bottom of the page.
