OF RECOGNITION
QUIZ GRADE FOR VOYAGEURS HISTORY
Team Voyageurs has
announced the establishment of a Hall of Recognition to honor those who played
a part in the American Revolution.
Because you are learning about this time period you have been selected
to nominate a candidate for the hall.
In order to
nominate a candidate you must first select and research the life of one of the
individuals below. You have two tasks:
1. Submit a formal nomination letter to Mr.
Myers, explaining why
you
are nominating the individual. Be sure
to describe the candidate’s accomplishments during the revolutionary period.

2. Submit an example of the plaque that may be
used in the Hall of
Recognition. This formal plaque should include images and
graphics pertaining to your nominee. It
should also outline the accomplishments of the individual during the
revolutionary period. All plaques must
be mounted on red, blue or black paper no larger than 11x17.

An individual may
only be nominated by one student per class period. They will be distributed on a first come, firs serve basis. You will have some class time for research
and compilation; however, it is strongly encouraged that you do work outside of
the class as well.
