Dear Friends,

Hello from Waxhaw, North Carolina. We are a 3rd grade class with 21 students. Our school opened this year and we are excited to be the first students to attend Rea View Elementary!  Our mascot is the Red Wolf, which can be found in NC. Our community is located just minutes from Charlotte, the largest city in NC. The major industries here are farming (tobacco, poultry), textiles, and furniture. We have many museums and cultural centers in Charlotte as well. Charlotte recently built an arena for the Carolina Panther's football team and an arena for the Bobcats basketball team. They are working on a NASCAR Museum too! We hope you have a great year!
