Hello from the mountains of Colorado!  We live in Aspen, a really famous ski resort, home of the Winter X-Games!  The Ute Indians lived here before Aspen became a mining town in the 1800's.  (They mined for Silver, gold, and uranium.)  Our school, Aspen Elementary, has about 500 students (K-4) and is right down the road from the Maroon Bells.  We have bears and mountain lions! In the winter, we love to ski, x-country ski, snowboard, ice skate, snowshoe, and play in the snow.  In summer, we love to go mountain biking, hiking, rafting, kayaking, camping, and fishing.
