Dear Friends across the USA,

Hello from California! Our school is located in the city of Chino. The city of Chino is centrally located in the western portion of the Inland Empire, in lush valley below the San Gabriel Valley Mountains.  California is known for its varied climate and geography as well as its diverse population.  In the Los Angeles area, people go to Disneyland, Knott's Berry Farm, and Universal Studios.  In San Diego, you can go to the biggest zoo in the world.  Death Valley is the lowest place in the United States.  The giant redwood trees in California are the largest trees in the world.  We hope you learned some new things about California.  We look forward to getting your postcard and learning about your state!

Sincerely,

Miss Martins' 5th Grade Class
