History:      
  • Hardeeville is 250 years old.  It began in 1754.
  • The city was settled by Swiss people who came from Switzerland in 1732.
  • For more than 100 years the timber industry was the main way people made a living.

  • A pecan factory was added to the city in the 1970's and still is there today.
