| Rain forms when clouds become too full of water moisture to remain in the cloud. It begins to fall toward the Earth as rain. It can also begin as ice crystals which stick together to form large snowflakes. As these snowflakes pass through the freezing air to the warmer air, they melt and form rain drops. | |||
