| Technology has some great uses, but not all learning objectives are best learned with computer technology. Many science objectives need hands-on experiment. Technology can be used to create tables and graphs to demonstrate the results of experiments. Math should use a combination of concrete manipulatives and visual representations of objects for young learners. Computer programs are good for reinforcing concepts. One of the most powerful uses of computer technology is the access to real-time information, access to international experts, and up-to-date world news. The very nature of the information age is almost instant access to history in the making. |
