Black History: Exploring African-American Issues on the Web.  It is for 8-12 Authored by former librarians and teachers, it has six major sections within the site.  The reading level is advanced for elementary students.

An outstanding site for African-American history.  It is dedicated to the Underground Railroad.  Younger students can choose their own adventure in "The Journey.   "Routes to Freedom," with a map that can be enlarged, and "Timeline" provide factual information for older students to investigate.

World Book Encyclopedia Presents:  The African American Journey.  For grades 5-8.  It was the winner of the Library Spot Spotlight Award.  It is an introduction to the African experience in American.
