Look at the information you just wrote down. Why do you think the
North won the war? You should be able to compare the two sides.
There were many more reasons, but think about the numbers you see above.
You might want to print out a map of Gettysburg to use in your project.

The third site has information about slavery. Explain what it was like
to be a slave, what slaves did to get away from their owners, and explain
what the Underground Railroad was. You should also write the name
of some people who helped slaves. Take notes below.
Use the site (fourth site) on spies and take some notes about Civil War
spies. Remember to include their names and any dates. It will
make your presentation much more interesting if you also add some notes
on their spying activities and if they spied for the North or the South.

of paper or on the back of this paper. Use the space below to write major events for the timeline.
