A little about me.....

Hi! I am Jennifer Keffer.  I came to Bellevue in the summer of 1993; when the Air Force stationed my mom at Offutt AFB.  I attended Bellevue West High school the next three years.  While at West I participated in their Band, Choir and Drama departments.  After I graduated from West I went to Peru State College.

Peru State College is a small college approximately an hour south of Bellevue.  During my studies at Peru I was involved in different groups such as: concert band, woodwind ensemble, choir, Peru State Education Association and hall government. I graduated in May of 2000 with my B.S. in Elementary Education with an endorsement in Early Childhood Education.

During the summer of 2000 I was hired by Bellevue Public Schools to work at Fairview Elementary School.  I taught first grade for my first two years at Fairview and then moved up to second grade.  I enjoyed teaching second grade for three years and kindergarten for the next three years.  Followed by a year teaching first grade.

During the summer of 2009 I transferred to Wake Robin Elementary School.  I have taught kindergarten and first grade at Wake Robin.

While teaching in the Fall of 2000 I also began my studies at UNO.  In the summer of 2003 I received my M.S. in reading education K-12.

On June 9, 2006 I married my wonderful husband Sean.  We had a lovely wedding with family and friends including Sean's 12 year old daughter Alexis.

In the summer of 2008 I started classes at Peru State College.  In May 2010 I received my masters degree in Curriculum and Instruction.

When not at school I enjoy hanging out with friends, my three cats and spending time with my family.
