What students can do on their own:
`Use the mouse.
`Type in username and password when appropriate.
`Log in and out.
`Use basic keyboard operations. (Enter, space bar, ESC keys, letter
keys, etc.)
What students can do with teacher assistance:
`Use appropriate terminology as applied to grade level activities.
`Keyboard
`Mouse
`Monitor
`Headphones
`Acquire simple keyboarding knowledge (find and type letters and
numbers on the keyboard).
`Use district software
`Use appropriate software (MS Word) to:
`Write name and given words.
`Print a page.
`Access the district/building web page and use given web sites.
`Discuss appropriate use and care of computers, headphones, and mice.
`Tap keys gently.
`Do not chew on cords.
`Always return headphones to the top of the computer.
