We had a great time with Watermelon Wednesday! We weighed our watermelon (it was 29 pounds), we did an experiment to see if our 29 lb. watermelon would float (it did!), we put together a watermelon poem booklet, and then of course we enjoyed a yummy snack. While eating, we talked about our five senses and we could use all of them to enjoy a watermelon!
Our watermelon was 17 inches long, weighed 29 pounds and had a circumference of 28 inches!
