Fourth Grade

Social Studies


In fourth grade Social Studies, we look in depth at the five regions of our great nation. Students will investigate the people, land, and history of each region. Fourth grade is also the year that students have an opportunity to study Nebraska History! Throughout the year, students will learn many interesting facts about the State of Nebraska and its history.

  • Northeast
  • Southeast
  • Midwest
  • Southwest
  • West


Play "Where is That??" -- a game that challenges students to locate and identify different states and cities of our nation:
Level 1 : Identify which country or state is highlighted (multiple choice).
Level 2 : Spell the name of the highlighted state or country.
Level 3 : You are given the capital. Identify the country or state (multiple choice).
Level 4 : You are given the capital. Spell in the country or state.
Level 5 : Identify which country or state is highlighted, AND fill in the capital.

Play "Who is That??" -- a game that challenges students to match and identify US Presidents:

Level 1 : You are shown a portrait and four clues.
Level 2 : You are shown a portrait and three clues.
Level 3 : You are shown a portrait and two clues.
Level 4 : You are shown a portrait and one clue.
