  3. Make an empathy statement.
  4. State disagreement specifically.
  5. Give a rationale.

How to Get the Teacher's Attention

  2. Raise hand.
  3. Wait for acknowledgment, ask question, or make comment.

 

How to Apologize

  1. Look at the person
  2. Use a pleasant voice.
  3. Make a specific request.
  4. State a plan for the future appropriate behavior.
  5. Ask the person to accept the apology.
