 GRADING:

The grade will be based on typing exercises that evaluate typing skills, accuracy and speed (calculated in gross words a minute).  The exercises are computer-based using the application Microtype Multimedia (MTM).

It is important to stay on task in class.  The application is only available on the Mission server and cannot be accessed from outside the schoolme.  Thus, approximately one-tenth of a student’s grade will be based on daily grades (time-on-task) through teacher observations.

Grades determined using the following scale:

P

 70-100 %

Pass

F

 69 %↓

Fail (No Credit)

Grades will be updated at least once a week on Parent-Connect.  Starting in September, progress reports will be sent home with your student every other Monday.
